Three of Anne Cain’s student recently signed National Letter of Intents to play golf on scholarship beginning in the Fall of 2017.

Ella Woods will attend James Madison University and play for the Lady Dukes in Harrisonburg, VA.  Woods, from St. John’s, FL, is an honor roll student at Bartram Trail and earned multiple All-Conference accolades in her career, including a district championship as a senior and multiple conference titles.

Lauren Waidner will play for the Lady Gators at the University of FL in Gainesville, FL.  Waidner lives in Fleming Island, FL, and attends Fleming Island High School.  Waidner has an impressive junior career and has multiple top finishes on the AJGA and Florida Junior Tour.  She was the High School District Medalist the last 3 seasons and recently posted a 3rd place finish at the GolfWeek Invitational.

Sarah May, also from Fleming Island, FL,  joins the Stetson University Women’s Golf Team from Fleming Island High School.  May has had an impressive summer and falls season posting top 5 finishes in her last three events on the Florida Junior Golf Tour.  She is currently ranked 10th in the Girls rankings age 16-18.

“I am so proud of these young ladies and honored to be their instructor and coach”, said LPGA Instructor Anne Cain.  “They each have  worked extremely hard and made all the necessary choices and sacrifices to achieve this success.  Playing golf at the Division I level requires not only great skill but mental management, and these ladies have all the necessary tools to succeed at the that level. It will be fun to watch them at the next level”.
